12/22/00 - Sandra was involved in a plane crash this week in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Her plane hit some ice and went out of control. The plane was totalled, but thankfully, Sandra and everyone on came out safely. Here is an article about the crash.
Sandra is nominated for a Golden Globe Award! A Golden f'n Globe! She's nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy for Miss Congeniality. She's up against Juliette Binoche, Brenda Blethyn, Tracey Ullman and Renee Zellweger. It looks like she has a shot to win this time. She was last nominated in '95 for "While You Were Sleeping", and lost to Nicole Kidman. The awards will air live on January 21st on NBC.

Guest off the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Sandra won the Bambi Award in the category: Film International. This is german award and many famous person received one. She spoke in German when she received the award.

11/22/00 - Last week, Sandra attended the Deep Ellum Film Festival, where Bob Schneider performed, and Sandra presented an award to her "Practical Magic" director Griffin Dunne. The festival had the premiere of Dunne's mockumentary Famous, which Sandra had a bit part in. Here is an article from Saturday's Austin American Statesman that described the festivities.There is also an article from the Dallas Observer which describes the films that were shown. Finally, here is the festival's official website. Proceeds from the festival went to a cancer awareness program.

11/08/00 - According to the Austin American Statesman, the Austin premiere of Miss Congeniality will take place December 18th at the Paramount Theatre. There's a good chance that Sandra will show up at her hometown premiere.

10/30/00 - The December issue of In Style with Sandra Bullock on the cover will be on stands by November 20th.
The December issue of YM magazine has a full page ad for Miss Congeniality.
November's Biography magazine has an thing on Benjamin Bratt and a pic of him with his Miss Congeniality co-stars, Sandra Bullock and Michael Caine, on page 96.
November's Movieline magazine has a pic of Sandra from Forces of Nature in an article about movies filmed in Savannah, Georgia.
The November 3rd Entertainment Weekly briefly mentioned that Sandra reserved her own Playstation 2, which was released this week.
According to Amazon.com, another Sandra Bullock book is set to be released this January. It is a hardcover by Anne E. Hill, and will cost $24.95. Judging from her previous work, it will probably be geared for a pre-teen audience.
